Google Pixel and Pixel XL: all you need to know

A few days ago, Google announced its brand new phones – the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL which are meant to be a game changer in what Google does in the hardware section of mobile phone production.

Here are all the details you need to know about both smartphones. First of all, specs for the Google Pixel:

  • 12MP camera (f/2.0, 1.55µm); EIS, 8MP selfie camera
  • Video: 2160p

  • Battery: 3,450mAh (26h talk time, 456h standby); Fast charging (7h talk time in 15min)

All in all, both phones look very similar but we’re sure that there will be many fans of the XL version which is bringing a very large and bright screen.

Here is how Google describe their new phones: “It has the highest rated smartphone camera. Ever. A battery that lasts all day. Unlimited storage for all your photos and videos. And it’s the first phone with the Google Assistant built in.” It is very exciting to see another big player entering the smartphone business. Although Google has been there for a while now with Nexus, it is very interesting to see how their new “made by Google” phones will perform.
