Android won’t be able to compete with Apple’s 3D Touch… yet

According to the latest reports, Google is still not ready with the rival of the very popular 3D Touch function that all latest iPhones have.

The functionality was expected to be added to the new Android N operating system, but latest release notes confirm that there’s still nothing ready on that front. According to the unconfirmed information, although it was planned for the new function to be added to Android N, the feature will not be part of the initial Android N release and will have to wait for a later release of the operating system, most likely as part of a maintenance update to the software.

Google has still to comment officially on these claims.

We’ll keep you updated if we hear more about it.
